Washington Wine2003 Woodward Canyon Cabernet Sauvignon (Artist Series #12)

Right off the bat, this wine impressed with a magnificent nose of blackberry, cedar and a hint of spice. A full bodied wine with a smooth mouth feel, it had a wonderfully long finish. Very dark, not revealing anything like an 8 year old in colour. Beautiful nose of blackberry and blueberry, with hints of cedar and vanilla mixed in. The finish goes on and on as it offers up minerals and a touch of spice. Definitely in the top echelon of California Cabernet.
