Tasting at Boeger Winery.
There are many great joys of the wine world and one of those is making a new discovery. For us at AdVINEtures, one of our better recent discoveries has been El Dorado County, just outside of Sacramento, California. We were first introduced to this gem of a wine region at the Wine Bloggers Conference 2017. 2014 Daou Viognier
Not for the faint of heart, this is a full-bodied white that has classic Viognier characteristics that have been dialed up a notch. A wonderfully floral nose with peach and honeysuckle on the palate. Soft and smooth with a plush mouth feel, it is well balanced and one of the finest Viogniers we’ve tasted.
