From the moment we opened this bottle, we noted aromas of black cherry and red currant alongside secondary notes of spice, earth and strawberry. A big, medium to full bodied Pinot with intense flavours of cherry and spice, without being overpowering. Very smooth, balanced and wonderfully complex amidst so many different descriptors! It’s showing no signs of breaking down and drinking beautifully now…so why wait?

This wine goes for a more Burgundian style with its earthiness and leaner profile. A nice change within a region that seems to want to push fruit and power to the max. It definitely seems age-worthy too.

Dark red with a little fade at the rim. Big nose of cherries, cranberries and earth. Medium to full body with red fruit flavours backed up with spices and earthiness. A terrific Pinot with seemingly many years to go.
