The Meneghetti family purchased the property in the 19th century and established a small vineyard. Over the decades, the estate went through various changes, however it wasn’t until the late 20th century that it underwent significant transformation. In the early 1990s, a visionary group of entrepreneurs and wine enthusiasts acquired the land with one common goal – to elevate the region’s winemaking and hospitality scene to international standards.

Spread over an expanse of lush greenery, the Meneghetti grounds are ample, encompassing approximately 120 hectares. The Istrian region’s unique climate, characterized by warm days and cool nights influenced by the nearby Adriatic Sea, creates the ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality grapes.

This setting also makes the perfect backdrop for their latest addition, an open-air exhibition of contemporary art sculptures.

The first show is titled “Lupines” and features several striking sculptures by Belgian contemporary artist Arne Quinze throughout the property that will be on display through to December of 2024.
